WARNING: If you can't handle seeing gross and creepy deep sea creatures, you'd better head somewhere a bit nicer. But if you're okay with seeing disturbing things, step right up, my friends. Boy do we have a show for you today.

The ocean is a mysterious place. On average, it's around 2.3 miles deep (just think about that for a second). There are a lot of deep sea creatures that live on or near the ocean floor, where there is never any sunlight. Needless to say, things get pretty weird down there.

This Russian deep-sea fisherman (I didn't know that was a thing either) took photos of all the creepy creatures he pulled up from the deep sea, and honestly... they are the stuff of nightmares. If I ever become a fish, I'm going to stay right on the surface where dolphins and mermaids are. These creatures give me the heebie jeebies.
